According to the Saudi Press Agency, the month-long programme is designed to provide participants with practical experience with space technologies and to refine their skills in aerospace engineering and sciences.
Through this program, aspiring engineers and technicians will gain valuable insights and hands-on experience, leveraging Boeing’s vast industry knowledge and cutting-edge technologies. The initiative highlights Saudi Arabia’s commitment to developing a strong and creative space industry and fostering a new generation of aerospace professionals.
Boeing, a leading industry player, is involved in this initiative to nurture local talent and give students and recent graduates hands-on knowledge and experience in these critical fields. The Saudi Space Commission emphasized that the goal of the program is to support the professional development of students and enhance their expertise in space technologies, preparing them for better future employment opportunities.

The program consists of two stages. The second stage will be a hands-on phase at a Boeing site in Alabama, where participants will actively engage in practical projects, such as developing a carbon dioxide removal system for use in lunar and Martian environments.
