Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour was abuzz with excitement for the Louis Vuitton Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 show. American musician Pharrell Williams, who is also the men’s creative director of Louis Vuitton, unveiled his latest collection in Hong Kong.
The collection marked a strategic move to capture the burgeoning Chinese market for luxury goods.
Williams followed his 2022 Paris debut, attended by global icons like Beyoncé and Jay-Z, to Hong Kong, drawing attention to local celebrities in the front row.
These included actors Zhu Yilong and Chow Yun-fat, members of Cantopop band Mirror, and rapper Tyson Yoshi.

The event featured a distinctive nautical theme, transforming a stretch of the Kowloon promenade into a sandy runway with video screens displaying tranquil blue surf.
Models donned navy-style hats, sharp suits, shorts, and stylish yet robust footwear, creating a maritime-inspired fashion spectacle.
As the show progressed, a playful shift unfolded, with models showcasing vibrant, tropical attire – breezy shirts and shorts paired with eye-catching LV bags in various sizes and styles.
The finale was breathtaking, with a massive drone show illuminating the harbour and forming a spectacular LV logo in the night sky.
Notably, the use of drones over Victoria Harbour required special permission, adding an extra layer of exclusivity to the event.
Williams made a memorable appearance at the show’s conclusion, donning a wing-tipped jacket, tie, hat, and distinctive heart-shaped glasses, adding his signature flair to the evening’s festivities.
This groundbreaking fashion event showcased Louis Vuitton’s latest designs. It underscored the brand’s ability to merge high fashion with innovative and visually stunning presentations, leaving a lasting impression on Hong Kong’s vibrant cityscape.
