Saudi fans of WWE wrestling are in for a treat in May with the next event set to be the King & Queen of The Ring.
WWE’s decade-long deal with Saudi Arabia is still going strong as there are still quite a few events left as part of their agreement.
The last WWE event in the Kingdom was the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event in November last year.
The contest featured LA Knight challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship.
However, the champion prevailed.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the King & Queen of The Ring would be taking place in Saudi Arabia on May 25th.
The King & Queen of The Ring was originally supposed to take place on May 27th last year but was scrapped in favour of the Night of Champions.
That show marked day 1,000 of Roman Reigns’ run as Universal Champion and also saw Seth Rollins become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
In 2021, Xavier Woods was crowned King of the Ring and Zelina Vega won the Queen’s Crown Tournament.
There’s no doubt WWE fans can expect an entertaining event packed with thrilling wrestling action.
