As part of BGTN’s partnership with Homeless Talk Newspaper we recently hosted our first journalism workshop for the newspaper vendors and journalists.
The journalism workshop facilitated by BGTN’s Ray White, empowered attendees with hands on experience in news gathering, storytelling techniques and ethical reporting practices.
White is a seasoned broadcaster and journalist with more than 31 years of experience and was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2023, he currently heads up the business desk at BGTN.
The opportunity to interact with such a seasoned professional provided a unique platform for attendees to participate in practical assignments and gain constructive feedback. Beyond skills development the workshop fostered a sense of confidence and empowered them to navigate complex media landscapes with integrity and professionalism.
