Instructions:

1. Prepare the Gyoza Filling:

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped cabbage, green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined. Set aside while you prepare the wrappers.

2. Assemble

  1. Place a small amount of filling in the center of a gyoza wrapper.
  2. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water.
  3. Fold the wrapper in half, creating a half-moon shape, and press the edges to seal. You can crimp the edges to create a decorative pattern.

3. Cook

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet or pan over medium heat.
  2. Add a small amount of oil to the pan.
  3. Place the gyoza in the pan, flat side down, and cook until the bottoms are golden brown (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Pour water into the pan, enough to cover the bottom, and immediately cover with a lid.
  5. Steam the gyoza for 5-7 minutes or until the wrappers are translucent and the chicken is cooked through.

4. Prepare the Dipping Sauce:

  1. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, chili oil, and sugar. Mix well.

5. Serve:

  1. Carefully transfer the cooked gyoza to a serving plate.
  2. Garnish with chopped green onions (optional).
  3. Serve the spicy chicken gyoza hot with the dipping sauce on the side.

Enjoy the burst of spicy and savory flavors in each bite of these Spicy Chicken Gyoza! They make for a perfect appetizer or a delightful addition to any meal.
