Born and raised in South Africa, he moved to France in 2014 and qualified for his adoptive country after acquiring French nationality in 2018.
The Monument High School graduate from Krugersdorp, South Africa, will be replaced by Bastien Chalureau.
South Africa takes on Scotland on Sunday afternoon at Stade de Marseille in France at 17:45 pm local time.
