The youth of today are the future leaders of BRICS countries. Therefore, they need to be included in discourses shaping tomorrow’s decisions.

Changing geopolitics

BRICS countries are adamant about renewing and refreshing the current status quo and geopolitics to advance the alliance, boost its member’s economies, and change how the world previously saw them.

In this episode, we looked at representation, a word that has become topical with the current ongoing geopolitical climate shift.

Representation matters for youth within BRICS nations because it ensures that their diverse perspectives, needs, and aspirations are considered in decision-making processes.

Youth representation

Adequate representation can lead to policies, programs and initiatives that address the unique challenges young people face, such as education, unemployment, health care and social issues.

It also empowers youth to actively shape their country’s future actively, fostering a sense of belonging and participation in developing their nations.
