Minister in the Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, says international cooperation is the only way to ensure the success of developing countries.
As the 15th BRICS Leaders Summit approaches, Ntshaveni has met with the leaders of Belarus, Burundi, Cuba, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, all of whom have expressed interest in joining BRICS.
The Minister says that collaboration among what she calls “the extended BRICS family” is crucial to addressing problems facing all developing nations, including terrorism, hunger and water insecurity.
The highly anticipated 15th BRICS Summit is set for next month. Leaders from the various countries will be focusing on issues like poverty, technological development and health.”
