Tenacious defence from Phumza Maweni and Karla Pretorius made it almost impossible for The Silver Ferns to score in the final minutes of the match.

Fans packed out the Cape Town International Convention Centre to cheer on the home team as it battled to even the score after a shaky start.

🗣️The home crowd's SPIRIT cannot be dimmed and the energy between the two teams is ELECTRIC! 🇿🇦
