The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UfC) Bantam weight fight between Cameron Saaiman went down on Saturday March 23 inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The South African “MSP” suffered a surprising defeat, according to fans by way of a brutal knockout in the second round.

From the very first bell, his American opponent, Payton Talbott, was firing from all cylinders and landing different combinations at a gnarly rate.

Saaiman was game and fought back but Talbott shrugged off the offense and sent the South African to the floor with a perfect check hook.

Saaiman regained his footing somehow but only to walk directly into Talbott’s brutal knee.

The South African remained conscious, but it was going to be a long evening for “MSP” and it did not improve.

By the end of the first round Saaiman’s face was battered.

Credit should be given to the South African, though, as he continued swinging and fighting from the heart in the second round.

Unfortunately his aggression led him directly into another check hook.

That was the beginning of the end. This time there would be no recovery and Talbott swarmed him on the floor and forced the referee to intervene.

It is back to the drawing board for Saaiman after suffering a brutal TKO at UFC Vegas 89.
