Saudi Arabia’s vision 2030: Human Capability Initiative to launch in Riyadh

Riyadh – Saudi Arabia’s Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, is set to launch the country’s Human Capability (HCI) Development Program.

The Saudi Press Agency reports the groundbreaking initiative is set to unfold in the heart of Riyadh and is a critical component of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 Realisation Program.

It is scheduled for February 28-29, 2024, at the prestigious King Abdulaziz International Convention Center.

A global gathering for human capability development

Themed “Future Readiness,” the HCI aims to unite over 6000 experts, decision-makers, and more than 150 international keynote speakers from government, private, and non-profit sectors, as well as think tanks, representing over 50 countries.

This unprecedented gathering is expected to foster impactful dialogues, create synergies, and seize opportunities for advancing human capability development worldwide.

The conference will concentrate on fortifying the human capability development ecosystem, promoting innovative policy design and creative solutions, and showcasing success stories highlighting human capability development’s profound impact on economic growth.

Saudi Minister of Education and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Human Capability Development Program, Yousef Al-Benyan, emphasised the significance of the conference.

“The conference is the first of its kind global cooperative platform to catalyze international collaboration, enrich global dialogue in human capability development, and contribute to the development of human skills and a prosperous global economy,” he said.

Minister Al-Benyan highlighted the conference’s agenda, stating that it will address critical challenges in human capability development in the face of global changes.
