Johannesburg, September 5, 2024 – The Russian Embassy in South Africa has inaugurated a captivating cultural initiative titled “Days of Russia’s Spiritual Culture,” running from September 5 to 8, 2024. The festivities commenced with a press briefing at the Linder Auditorium, University of the Witwatersrand, where Russian Ambassador to South Africa, Ilya Rogachev, and renowned violist and conductor Yuri Bashmet discussed the event’s significance.
