Brasília, Brazil | 05 February 2026
On 26 January 2026, Brazil’s National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) approved the draft tender protocol for the 4th cycle of its Permanent Offer program under the Production Sharing regime.
The tender will include 25 exploration blocks. Of these, 8 are returning from previous cycles, and 17 are new blocks added by resolutions of the National Council for Energy Policy. The new draft updates the technical and economic parameters of the offered blocks.
The ANP has authorized the submission of the protocol to the Ministry of Mines and Energy for approval. Once approved, it will be made available for a public hearing before the official bidding process can begin.
