Amidst reports circulating on social media and various news platforms, the Miss Universe Organization has stepped forward to clarify the status of Saudi Arabia’s participation in the renowned beauty pageant. Contrary to widespread claims, the organisation has affirmed that no official selection process has been conducted in Saudi Arabia, dismissing any assertions suggesting otherwise as false and misleading.

While initial announcements by beauty queen Rumy Alqahtani sparked excitement about Saudi Arabia’s representation in Miss Universe 2024, the organisation has says that the country’s involvement remains subject to a rigorous vetting process. Saudi Arabia has yet to receive final approval from the approval committee to participate in the prestigious competition.

The clarification serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to established selection criteria and regulations set forth by Miss Universe. Despite the anticipation surrounding Saudi Arabia’s potential participation, the organisation emphasises the need for adherence to proper procedures and protocol.

The Miss Universe Organization’s statement follows a series of reports and social media announcements regarding Saudi Arabia’s purported involvement in the competition. This clarification seeks to provide accurate information and dispel any misinformation surrounding the matter.

As the anticipation continues to build for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant, aspiring contestants and enthusiasts alike await further updates on Saudi Arabia’s potential participation, pending the final decision by the approval committee.
